Conference of Union of Armenians of Ukraine held in Kherson
The city of Kherson hosted a quarterly conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine yesterday, on July 3, AnalitikaUA.net said.
Local officials, heads of regional Armenian communities and the Union of Armenian Youth of Ukraine, intellectuals and clerics came together to discuss topical problems of the Armenian Diaspora and various cultural, historical and educational initiatives. Special attention was paid to issues related to Armenian youth and sports.
Before the start of the conference, Union members visited the Kherson city clinical hospital to donate equipment for a children’s ward.
