Yevgeny Bibin: Electric Networks of Armenia Company cannot pay for losses that are not its own
Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) Company cannot pay for losses that are not the company’s own losses, Director General of ENA Yevgeny Bibin said today at a sitting of Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
“The methodology for calculating electricity losses is imperfect and we cannot pay for losses that are not our own,” he stressed.
The media reported earlier that at the upcoming July 8 sitting, Public Services Regulatory Commission intended to impose a fine of 75 million drams on ENA. The fine was to be imposed under 14 separate decisions of the Commission – 12 decisions envisaged a fine of 5 million drams each, one decision – a 5.4 million fine, and yet another decision included a fine of 10 million drams.
