Hraparak: Number of Armenian tourists visiting Greece drops
‘Hraparak’ paper says that recent events in Greece – the most popular and affordable of the European destinations this year - have had an impact on holiday travel of Armenian residents. The number of Armenian tourists visiting Greece is gradually declining due to Greece’s debt crisis and the looming default.
The paper writes that although Armenian Foreign Ministry urged citizens to avoid traveling to Egypt, Armenians are ignoring those warnings. “The reason is that trips to Egypt are quite affordable so our compatriots ignore the risks,” ‘Hraparak’ says.
