Armenia and three other states receive dialog partner status at SCO after China’s support
Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed the participation of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia and Nepal in the work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Ufa, RIA Novisti reports.
“We welcome the participation of Belarus as an observer in SCO and of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia and, Nepal as the organization’s dialog partners,” the Chinese president said addressing an enlarged meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States.
The heads of SCO member states took a decision to grant the status of dialog partner of SCO to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, and Nepal. The document were signed at the SCO summit in Ufa.
