Haykakan Zhamanak: State debt of Armenia may grow by $909m next year
The Armenian government intends to borrow about $909 million in 2016, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily says. This becomes evident from a review of the medium-term expenditure program for 2016-2018 recently approved by the government.
The government forecasts show that the state debt will amount to 1 trillion 999 million drams ($4.2 billion) at the beginning of 2016, so the same index is expected to make 2 trillion 431 billion drams ($5.1bn) in late 2016. The difference is 432 billion drams or $909 million at the current exchange rate of the dollar.
