Ornella Muti and Nastassja Kinski visit Yerevan Brandy Company
Celebrated actresses Ornella Muti and Nastassja Kinski who are in Armenia on the occasion of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival visited Yerevan Brandy Company, according to the Company's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ArArAtMuseum ).
In accordance with to the visit program, the guests had a tour at ARARAT Museum, visited the Ageing Cellar of YBC where they have been introduced to the rich history and the production process of the Armenian brandy ARARAT. Afterwards they have been at the Presidential Cellar where the specially named barrels founded on the occasions of the presidential visits are kept.
The guests have also have been introduced to the some of the rarest bottles of ARARAT presented in the permanent exhibition of Museum.
Later on, the delegation stopped at the Peace Barrel, founded in 2001 in honor of the co-chairs of the Minsk Group of OSCE who visited factory in 2001. The barrel is called “Peace” as it will be opened when Karabakh conflict is resolved. The guests also signed in Ararat memory book.
At the end of the tour Ornella Muti and Nastassja Kinski have been presented with the custom made bottles from the ARARAT Exclusive Range.
Golden Apricot 12th International Film Festival opened in Yerevan on July 12. Established in 2004 with the support of Armenian Ministry of Culture, the film festival has become one of the most prestigious in the region. Among the world-renowned guests of the Golden Apricot Festival were Italian writer Tonino Guerra, actresses Claudia Cardinale and Fanny Ardant.
