Zhoghovurd: Samvel Nikoyan buys expensive house despite low salary
According to the income declaration that member of Republican Party of Armenia’s faction, ex-speaker of the Armenian parliament Samvel Nikoyan filed in late 2014, he had 3,059,000 drams, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes. Although the annual salary of the MP is 4,446,000 drams, he bought a house for 45 million drams last year.
Nikoyan’s wife, Madlena Virabyan, who receives an annual salary of 1,440,000 drams, had $2,000 and 1,000 euros in late 2014. Besides, the income she received from bonds made 13,400,000 drams.
