President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attends opening of Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Yerevan
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the opening ceremony of Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Yerevan, a hotel of the major international hotel chain Hilton Worldwide, the press service of Armenian president reported.
The president was shown around the luxurious hotel that was constructed in 16 months in line with the highest international standards by Renco Company , under an agreement on cooperation between the state and private sectors. Serzh Sargsyan familiarized himself with the investment made and the range of services available. Approximately 200 jobs have been created.
Managers of Renco Company and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan were also present at the ceremony.
Renco also plans to improve the area adjacent to the hotel (where a cycle track was originally located), to plant trees and bushes and built fountains there. The 5-year investment project of the company is expected to cost 130-150 million euros.
