Haykakan Zhamanak: Government to use money from Vorotan hydropower plant sale to pay ENA
‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes that the government decided to use funds to be received from the sale of Vorotan Complex of hydropower plants to compensate for the ‘financial gap’ caused by a delay in the electricity tariff rise.
Until the completion of an audit in Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) Company, the government will pay ENA 7 drams per KWh, which amounts to 2.5-3 billion drams a month.
It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said this money will not be paid from the state budget.
