Zhoghovurd: Poultry farms fail to withstand competition
Poultry farms are facing difficulties - representatives of companies say that large amounts of cheap poultry have been imported into Armenia in recent months, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says. As a result, local manufacturers fail to withstand competition.
Milen Art, a company engaged in poultry farming for ten years, stopped operating 20 days ago. “I don’t want to do this business now because one should not start a business in our country. Poultry raising has become an absurdity here,” the company director Samvel Abrahamyan said.
