Khosrov Harutyunyan: Armenian opposition forces should consider the fact they are not trusted anymore
‘No to Plunder’ civic initiative that organized the first wave of protests in Armenia against a rise in electricity tariffs was expressing distrust of the opposition, not of the authorities, Khosrov Harutyunyan, an Armenian parliament member from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, told a press conference today.
In his words, members of ‘No to Plunder’ movement did not accept the opposition, they rejected opposition forces. “The opposition should consider the fact that it is not trusted anymore in the country,” K. Harutyunyan said.
The MP stressed at the same time that it is easier to shift responsibility onto government bodies.
