Government of Armenia approves program to raise seismic safety of schools
At the weekly session today the Armenian government approved a program of optimizing the level of seismic safety at state comprehensive schools in 2015-2030.
The program will help raise the readiness of the population and state bodies in case of an earthquake, significantly reduce the seismic risks, protect the population from natural and man-caused disasters, ensure social and economic stability of Armenia, integrate into the international monitoring system of regional seismic risks, and introduce modern standards.
