Instruction of Armenian PM on inspections aims to optimize business environment, minister of economy says
The instruction that Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan gave today concerning discussion of the issue of a reduction in the number of inspections is aimed at optimizing the business environment, Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan said during a briefing today after the government session.
“I think it is first of all aimed at improving the business environment and also some mitigation. Secondly, inspection reforms are now in the stage of their implementation so reducing the number of inspection bodies implies some changes in their activities , structural changes,” the minister said.
At the government session today Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan instructed Minister-Chief of the Armenian Government Staff David Harutyunyan that he and the heads of state bodies having an inspection department shall discuss until late 2015 the possibility of suspending inspections.
