S. Ohanyan: Azerbaijani troops fire not only in Artsakh, but also at border settlements of Armenia
Azerbaijani troops open fire not only in Artsakh, but also at border settlements of Armenia. The situation has escalated somewhat, more shots have been heard, Armenian Defense Minister Seyan Ohanyan said during a briefing today after he met with representatives of Diaspora Armenian youth who arrived in Armenia as part of ‘Ari Tun’ (Come Home) program.
The Armenian units control the situation, the servicemen’s morale is high and they perform their tasks, the minister said.
“Let the Armenian people not doubt that the Armenian army will continue ensuring their peace and security,” S. Ohanyan said.
He said during the meeting with youths earlier today that the Armenian army has made progress for years and achieved success together with the people.
“We intend to raise further the level of relations between the army and society because a state is invincible when its people and army are united,” the defense minister said.
