Central Bank of Armenia on situation on banking market in Armenia
$62,810,745 was bought at the average rate of 478.91 drams per dollar and $70,845,798 was sold at the average exchange rate of 480.39 drams per dollar in the intra-bank currency market of Armenia on July 20-24.
Purchase and sale transactions of $9,350,000 at the average exchange rate of 479.64 drams per dollar were carried out on the stock exchange NASDAQ OMX Armenia over the indicated period.
Transactions of $1,100,000 at the average rate of 480.25 drams per dollar were carried out in the interbank market Armenia in the same period, according to the press service of Central Bank of Armenia.
On July 13-19 the loans provided by Armenian banks amounted to 31.9bn drams and $34.8 million.
