Driver dead as tractor falls into gorge in Lori province
Information was received around 9 pm on July 26 that a tractor fell into a gorge near Vardaghbyur village of Armenia’s Lori province. Two crews were sent to the scene.
It turned out that a Belarus tractor driven by a 67-year-old man left the roadway and fell into a nearby gorge, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations reported.
Search work, in which a local rapid response group of the Red Cross was also involved, was suspended at 3 am and resumed early in the morning. The body of S V, 67, was found in the tractor.
