President Sargsyan congratulates new Armenian Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message to the new Armenian Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia, his Beatitude Krikor Petros XX Ghabroyan.
In his message, Serzh Sargsyan congratulated His Beatitude Krikor Ghabroyan on election as the 20th Armenian Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia.
“Invaluable is the role of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in the preservation of the Armenian identity and the unity of our people. I am confident that during your ministry too, the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia will continue making efforts to reach out to help the Armenians, in particular with solution of the numerous problems facing the Armenians in the Middle East. I wish you good health and vigor in carrying out your high mission,” the message says.
