Most business entities of Armenia exempted from checks until end of 2015
At the previous session of Armenian government, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan instructed Minister – Chief of Government Staff Davis Harutyunyan to hold discussion with heads of state bodies having inspection departments regarding the possibility of suspending checks. Discussions were held and proposals submitted, based on which a decision was drafted and presented to the government today.
By the decision, the number of checks conducted by inspectorates (except for checks by tax and customs bodies) will be strictly limited until January 1, 2016.
As part of optimization, about 90% of checks of business entities were suspended until late 2015. 10% of inspections will continue to check at-risk businesses such as gas fueling stations.
