Disciplinary infractions in Armenian army on downward trend – Movses Hakobyan
Armenian Defense Ministry held on July 31 a sitting of the collegium dealing with issues of military training and discipline of the armed forces in the winter education period of 2015, according to the press service of the ministry.
Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said two important aspects – military training and discipline form an unflinching defender of the homeland. He stressed the need for consistent work on raising the standard of discipline and military training and strengthening the achieved results.
Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Haykaz Baghmanyan made a report on military training of troops. The report contained an analysis and a comparison with the same period of last year and presented the work done in the reporting period, the achievements, and the shortcomings.
Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan addressed disciplinary problems of the military personnel in his report. He said that thanks to the joint fight against vicious morals and manners, there has been a decrease in disciplinary infractions in the army. He attached importance to joint efforts so that the downward trend could continue.
