Greek historian writes book on Armenian Genocide
Greek historian Theophanes Malkides presents the book “Armenia, Armenians, Justification” on the genocide perpetrated against Armenians, Greeks, Kurds and Assyrians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire 100 years ago, Armeniangenocide100.org said.
The author speculates that Turkey has not changed its style and policy and continues perpetrating genocide against the ethnic minorities living in the country.
Published with the support of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Greece, the book includes documents, testimonies and photos.
“I realized over time how grateful I am to the Armenian nation: more and more people talk about prevention of genocides today,” the historian said, adding that Turkey has not changed its principles even 100 years later.
“Turkey not only does not recognize the century-old crime against humanity, but also continues with the same genocidal policy, which resulted in Hrant Dink’s murder, what happened to Kurds, and the mass killings in Syria,” Malkides said.
