Most calls received by labor ministry hotline related to pensions and benefits
Hot Line Service of Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs received 2,224 calls in July 2015.
761 of the calls received by the hot service asked for general information, 470 were related to benefits, including 283 calls about family allowances, 42 calls were made concerning child care, and 322 calls were related to issues of the accumulative pension scheme. Citizens also made calls to get information about medical social expert examinations (21), deposit refund (86) and other social issues.
23 complaints were received in July, 5 of which were filed to the Commission for Medical Social Expert Examinations, another 5 – to territorial agencies on social services, and 13 were sent to territorial units of the State Social Security Service, the press service of Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said.
Most of the issues raised by citizens who called the hotline were dealt with on the spot, and the remaining issues were accepted for further examination, the ministry said in a statement.
