Zhoghovurd: MP of RPA faction Artak Davtyan implicated in a sex scandal
As is known, rumors began circulating on July 30 that member of the Armenian National Congress Tigran Arakelyan was detained and taken to an isolation ward of the National Security Service. Tigran Arakelyan is rumored to have been detained on suspicion of keeping and releasing videos about members of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), according to ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper.
“Rumor has it that Tigran Arakelyan allegedly demanded money from RPA members in return for not releasing those videos. Anyway, it is officially known that Tigran Arakelyan was arrested on a charge of extortion,” the paper says.
‘Zhoghovurd’ learned that deputy of RPA parliamentary faction Artak Davtyan is one of those involved in the ‘video case’. Artak Davtyan told the newspaper: “Neither Tigran Arakelyan nor the released videos interest me. I don’t even want to comment on this information”.
