Zhoghovurd: Gazprom Armenia denies information about CNG station construction by V. Harutyunyan
A new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station is being constructed on Yerevan-Sevan Highway, near Saranist Plant, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says.
The newspaper learned that executive director of Gazprom Armenia Comonay Vardan Harutyunyan is the fueling station’s owner. When contacted by the paper, Gazprom Armenia’s spokeswoman Shushan Sardaryan said the information is not true.
The correspondent of the paper asked Shushan Sardaryan why some CNG fueling stations in Armenia receive gas through two pipelines (one pipeline is legally allowed), due to which the stations charge different prices. The spokeswoman replied that Gazprom Armenia Company is not engaged in illegal trade of gas and all the fueling stations comply with the law.
