Zhoghovurd: Vardan Sedrakian’s health deteriorates
The health condition of epos expert Vardan Sedrakyan has deteriorated, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says citing sources.
Sedrakyan was sentenced to 15 years for attempted murder of the leader of Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) Paruyr Hayrikyan. He is serving his term in Artik prison.
The paper learned that Sedrakyan received medical aid in his cell and was not hospitalized.
When contacted by the paper, Sedrakyan’s wife, Ruzanna Sedrakyan, said he has liver problems. “I visited him recently, but I am unaware that his health has deteriorated. There was probably such a problem, but I have no information,” she said.
