IT industry development is in the focus of government attention
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met today with representatives of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UITE), according to the government press office.
Issues related to the further development of IT sector and the promotion of innovative ideas were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the meeting participants addressed issues such as technological education modernization, training of qualified experts, expansion of international cooperation, and the prospects of implementing programs for investment attraction.
The prime minister said the development of IT industry is constantly in the focus of the government’s attention, and the cabinet of ministers is prepared to support any sensible proposal aimed at IT sector development.
