Government of Armenia hosts festive event on Day of Builder
Construction was and remains a key sector of the Armenian economy, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said today, on August 7 at the festive event held in the Session Hall of the Government on the occasion of the Day of Builder, according to the government press office.
On behalf of the government and himself, H. Abrahamyan congratulated builders on their professional holiday and wished them fruitful work and new creative achievements.
“By combining the experience and skills of brilliant masters of last century with modern construction technology, you build earthquake-resistant buildings of higher quality today. I want to stress with delight that modern Armenian architecture maintains the rich traditions of the industry and creates buildings we can be proud of. In independent Armenia, construction technology also developed thanks to you, which is a guarantee of the strength of our buildings”, PM said.
He expressed hope that Armenian architects and builders will continue working with the same energy and love as the Armenian builder also passes on the national traditions and values to future generations.
The prime minister stressed that the government makes consistent efforts to develop construction through new programs and projects.
During the festive event the best representatives of construction sector received commemorative medals and letters of thanks of Armenian Prime Minister.
