16 children hospitalized from Vayots Dzor summer camp for possible food poisoning
16 children were taken from a summer camp in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province to the medical center of the city of Vayk after complaining of stomach and intestinal problems.
Doctors said some children wer in condition of medium gravity, according to Health Ministry of Armenia.
A group of Health Ministry experts was immediately sent to the scene to take preventive anti-epidemic measures. It turned out that two children had dizziness and ran a temperature yesterday. They received treatment, but they had to be hospitalized in the morning.
Samples of food and water were taken to determine the source of poisoning. All children have been discharged from hospital now.
