Zhamanak: Ishkhan Zakaryan to be relieved of responsibility to come to parliament
The Armenian government filed a legislative initiative to the parliament, proposing to make changes in three articles of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, according to which Chairman of the Control Chamber of Armenia Ishkhan Zakaryan has to come to parliament in cases envisaged by the law. Zakaryan has not been in the parliament in the past two years,’Zhamanak’ paper says.
“By the amendments, henceforth he will be relieved of that responsibility, and the de facto situation will be specified in the law, while in case of need a representative of the Control Chamber, a person authorized by Council of the Control Chamber shall appear in the parliament,” the newspaper writes.
