Zhoghovurd: Company owned by Syunik governor sacks 60 employees
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes citing sources that Ler-Eks Company in Armenia’s Syunik province has dismissed about 60 employees.
“The company is engaged in exploration of deposits. Rumor has it that Ler-Eks was previously run by the governor of Syunik province Suren Khachatryan and Maksim Hakobyan, former director general of Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine.
Maksim Hakobyan ‘gave up’ the company recently and now it is solely managed by Suren Khachatryan,” the paper says noting that the company management explained the dismissal of employees by its financial problems. “Our attempts to talk with management of Ler-Eks were unsuccessful. Syunik regional governor Suren Khachatryan also did not answer the phone calls,” the paper writes.
