104 out of 1349 convicts in Armenia are women
There were 1,349 convicts in Armenia, including 104 women, in June and July 2015, according to Armenia’s Judicial Department.
Out of the 1349 convicts, 29 were minors, including three girls.
Data released by National Statistical Service shows that cases against 120 people were dropped, 14 persons were acquitted, and compulsory measures of a medical nature were applied to 32 insane people. 735 convicted people were imprisoned.
452 (including 21 minors) out of those convicted were put on probation, and 25 people were granted amnesty.
