Zhamanak: Former director of Nairit considers plant’s restarting as baseless
The demand to restart Nairit chemical plant in Yerevan is illogical, the plant’s former director general Gagik Nersisyan told ‘Zhamanak’ paper.
“I don’t know who provokes Nairit workers and directs them, but the plant’s restarting is baseless and impossible,” Nersiiayn said.
Asked by the paper if the information that Nairit workers received their back wages at the expense of money from the sale of Vorotan Hydro Cascade is reliable, Gagik Nersisyan replied: “They are probably sure that the sum from that deal will be transferred. They simply took money from somewhere and gave it to those people, and when the sum from the deal will come, they will return the money to the same place. Even if it is not the case, in the last resort the prime minister or the president will call two ‘tough guys’ and tell them that 15 million drams are needed and each of them has to pay a certain sum of money, and those ‘tough guys’ will pay. It is not ruled out”.
