After Russian citizen, ‘notorious’ Andranik Nikoghosyan said on his website that Armenia should be annexed to Russia, there have been calls for Nikoghosyan to be stripped of his awards presented by the Armenian parliament speaker and the police chief, according to ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper.

The problem is that this man was once a favorite guest of Armenian political elite members. And although there was nothing special about him, he came close to becoming a media magnate in Armenia.

But the most tragic thing is that A. Nikoghosyan received his medals not from the parliament speaker or the police chief, but, as ‘Zhoghovurd’ found out, from Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan who presented him with two medals – the Andranik Ozanyan Medal and the Garegin Nzhdeh Medal.
