Nick Kyrgios tells Stan Wawrinka girlfriend cheated on him
Well, it was late, so hopefully the kids were fast asleep.
Twenty-year-old tennis player Aussie Nick Kyrgios, who has a bit of a bad boy reputation on the ATP World Tour, took that image to new heights during his match with Swiss Stan Wawrinka at the Rogers Cup late Wednesday night.
Shortly after losing his first set to the higher-seeded player, Kyrgios delivered a shocking verbal forehand smash of sorts to his opponent, a two-time Grand Slam winner.
"(Thanasi) Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend, sorry to tell you mate," Kyrgios, the world No. 5, is heard saying on a clip that was quick to light up on the social site Twitter, Torontosun.com reported.
It is believed the comment is in reference to 19-year-old Croatian player Donna Vekic, whom both Wawrinka and Kokkinakis have been linked to, according to reports.
