Subway construction site in China collapses suddenly into humongous sinkhole
Another tragic and frightening disaster video has gone viral on the Chinese internet on August 13, showing the moment earlier in the morning when an urban rail construction site in Dongguan suddenly and finally collapsed.
According to Apple Daily, the site had partially collapsed the day before opening up a gargantuan sink hole. As workers tried to repair the damage and reinforce the site, it finally completely collapsed, shaking the entire neighborhood in the process and killing one worker underground.
This is the fifth collapse in just the past three years within 4 kilometers of the site, with each one more devastating than the last.
