Kate Middleton and Prince William slam paparazzi stalking their son George
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have issued a stern warning to paparazzi stalking Prince George after a photographer was found hiding in a car near a children's play area.
In a letter released by Kensington Palace today the couple said a 'line had been crossed' by photographers going to 'disturbing' lengths to take photographs of their young children, according to Daily Mail.
Thanking the British media for not publishing unofficial photographs of George or Princess Charlotte, the couple's press secretary said they would be 'delighted' to share their own pictures as they pair grow up.
'The Duke and Duchess have been delighted to share official photographs of Prince George and Princess Charlotte in recent months to thank the public for the thousands of kind messages of support they have received,' said Jason Knauf, the couple's press secretary.
The couple fear Prince George has become the 'number one target' of paparazzi trying to take unofficial images of their family.
'A line has been crossed and any further escalation in tactics would represent a very real security risk.'
Mr Knauf added that while the couple have private homes, they do not want their children to 'grow up behind palace walls and gates' and would like for them to be able to play in public with others their age without being photographed.
