Russian military learn extreme driving skills in Armenia
200 Russian servicemen have begun training in Armenia to learn extreme driving skills at an elevation of over 1.5 thousand meters above sea level, RIA Novosti reported citing the press service of Southern Federal District of Russia.
The servicemen are learning to drive KamAz Mustang and Urals trucks in high mountains.
“The peculiarities of training servicemen in this area are that they learn to operate vehicles on a narrow roadway with sharp bends in conditions of a low atmospheric pressure, sharp fluctuations in temperature during the day, a high concentration of dust, and few sources of water,” the statement says.
