Zhoghovurd: Abrahamyan given to understand he should not interfere in Armenia’s political life
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes citing sources that President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan was given to understand that he should not interfere in the political life of Armenia.
“The paper learned that members of Armenia’s political elite warned Abarhamyan that any independent ‘game’ is doomed to failure. He was offered to involve one or two of his brothers in National Rebirth project initiated by Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK) and, in case of success, to make them MPs in this way. Ara Abrahamyan has such experience: his brother Seryozha Abrahamyan was elected parliamentary deputy from OEK Party’s List,” the paper says.
