PM Hovik Abrahamyan on working visit to Gegharkunik and Lori provinces
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan paid a working visit to Gegharkunik and Lori provinces of Armenia, the government press office said.
At the end of the visit to Gegharkunik province, the PM held a consultation at the municipality of Sevan city with the participation of community heads. He said the project of repairs of kindergarten No 2 in the city of Sevan will be ready in the coming months and repairs are likely to start in the autumn. H. Abrahamyan praised the initiative of Gegharkunik governor Rafik Grigoryan to provide 100 million drams for road reconstruction in the city of Sevan. The process of agricultural work and infrastructure issues were discussed during the consultation.
In Lori province, the PM inspected the repair work of a 2-kilometer road in Margahovit village. The repairs are expected to finish in September. The premier complied with the request of village residents to repair the road leading to the village school. He instructed to start the work as soon as possible and to allocate state budget funds for that purpose.
Abrahamyan told reporters that the government tries to solve numerous problems facing the communities. “On the instructions of Armenian president, the government implements urgent programs of road construction, water supply, and repairs of schools. We will try to deal with other urgent problems of population in the next 2-3 years. Everyone knows that it requires considerable financial resources, but the government will gradually solve those issues,” Hovik Abrahamyan stressed.
