NKR Defense Army promptly suppresses activity of Azerbaijani troops
On August 9-15 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 1000 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to data of Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Azerbaijani troops fired over 18,000 shots at Armenian positions in the indicated period from guns of various calibers as well as 60 mm and 82 mm mortars and RPG-7 and AGS-17 grenade launchers, according to Defense Ministry of NKR.
The enemy’ activity was suppressed as a result of prompt actions taken by frontline units of NKR Defense Arm
