Temperatures to drop by 2-3 degrees in Armenia on August 17-18
A tropical air mass will remain over Armenia on August 17-19. The risk of fires is high in valleys and foothills, according to Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in northern regions of the country in the evening and early night hours today, on August 17, and tomorrow. No precipitation is expected on August 19-21.
South winds will be at 2-5 meters per second, but could reach 15-20 mps during a thunderstorm. Temperatures will drop by 2-3 degrees on August 17-18 and rise by 1-2 degrees on August 19-20.
No rain is expected in Yerevan for August 17-21.
