Zhamanak: Armenian oligarchs and officials cut short their vacation in Monaco
Moscow-based businessman Samvel Karapetyan celebrates his birthday in Monaco today, ‘Zhamanak’ paper writes citing sources. The paper learned that some godchildren of Karaeatyan, including businessman Gagik Tsarukyan with his son-in-law, as well as the son of Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan, transport minister Gagik Beglaryan, and MP Samvel Aleksanyan traveled to Monaco to take part in the birthday party.
“Yet it became known yesterday that preparations for the birthday were postponed for a day as they returned to Armenia to attend the memorial services for the father of Armenian Investigative Service Chairman Aghvan Hovsepyan and the mother of ex-President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan. We learned that today they will leave for Monaco again,” ‘Zhamanak’ says.
