It is rumored in the ruling circles that Arpine Hovhannisyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), currently has a zero chance of becoming Armenia’s justice minister, ‘Zhoghovurd’ says.

“The paper learned that relatives of Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan urged him not to propose Arpine Hovhannisyan as a candidate for that post. They explained their position by the fact that there has already been much talk over the fact that Arpine Hovhannisyan, who served as advisor to the parliament speaker, has become an MP,” the paper says and adds citing its sources that Hovik Abrahamyan eventually agreed with the opinion of the ‘opponents’ and decided not to propose Arpine Hovhannisyan as candidate for justice minister.
