Agriculture ministers of Armenia and Georgia discuss expansion of cooperation
Every effort should be made to boost the commodity turnover between Armenia and Georgia and set up joint ventures, the agriculture ministers of Armenia and Georgia, Sergo Karapetyan and Otar Danelia, said at a meeting in Tbilisi.
Both ministers stressed the need to fulfill the existing potential as much as possible, according to the press service of Armenian Agriculture Ministry.
Sergo Karapetyan said Georgia may find it useful to adopt Armenian methods for cultivation of table grape varieties and development of greenhouses.
The ministers also discussed other issues of mutual interest concerning the expansion of Armenian-Georgian relations in the agricultural sector and the promotion of cooperation in new areas.
