Zhoghovurd: Deputy of Prosperous Armenia Party sued by Nork-Marsh administrative district
In May 2014 Nork-Marash administrative district of Yerevan filed a lawsuit against Abraham Manukyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), ‘Zhoghovurd’ says citing its sources.
The lawsuit was filed to the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan’s Kentron and Nor-Marash districts, but the noteworthy aspect is the object of the action, the newspaper says.
“The administrative district asks the court to recover 27,416 drams from the MP. Considering the amount of money and the fact that the claimant is an administrative district, it is evident that the sum to be recovered is a property tax the MP failed to pay.
To all appearances, like other Armenian citizens, the deputy did not pay that sum due to the difficult social situation,” the paper notes.
