4 Armenian citizens killed in road accident in Georgia
Two Opel cars collided on a bypass road in Georgia’s Samtred district around 5:00 pm yesterday, o August 20. One of the cars was carrying Armenian citizens and there were Georgians in the other.
Three Armenian citizens (A. Harutyunyan, 57, L. Nersisyan, 40, and M. Nersisyan, 58) and the Georgian car’s driver died in the crash, said Vladimir Jgamadze, the head of rescue service in Imereti region of Georgia, according to the Facebook page of Armenian Foreign Ministry. E. Baghdasaryan, 15, died in hospital shortly after.
Two Armenian women and two citizens of Georgia were hospitalized in critical condition.
