Haykakan Zhamanak: Arpine Hovhannisyan still a candidate for justice minister
Arpine Hovhannisyan, an MP of the ‘Republican Party of Armenia’ (RPA) faction of Armenian parliament, is still a candidate for justice minister, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ writes citing sources.
Members of RPA say that Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan managed to persuade President Serzh Sargsyan, and A. Hovhannisyan is expected to be appointed next week while the PM is still on vacation.
“Arpine Hovhannisyan who is said to be vacationing in Italy does not answer phone calls. She also has not posted any Facebook statement since July 31,” the daily noted.
