Drills with Grad rocket launchers and drones start in Armenian mountains
Russian troops have started military drills with the use of Grad multiple rocket launchers and drones in Armenian mountains, RIA Novosti reported citing the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD).
According to a statement, artillery units are undergoing field training in Armenia’s Alagyaz high-altitude shooting ground at the Russian military base of the SMD. The artillery units will fire at targets at an altitude of over 2000 meters above sea level, with drones being used to search for targets.
Over 300 troops and 100 units of military hardware and arms are involved in the drills, including Gvozdika howitzers and Grad rocket launchers.
