Zhoghovurd: Workers of Kimprom demand back wages
Workers of Kimprom enterprise in the city of Vanadzor of Armenia’s Lori province gathered yesterday outside the regional administration building to demand their back wages for 8 months, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says.
Lori governor Arthur Nalbandyan promised at a meeting with Kimprom’s staff in July that the government would address their problem after paying back wages of Nairit plant. Demonstrators say that Nairit workers’ problem has been solved, but there is still no progress in their issue.
Officials of the regional administration told Kimprom employees that the governor is on vacation and that they should return in two days.
