Education minister of Armenia approves minimum grade for university tuition fee compensation
Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan signed an order about the establishment of the minimum threshold of the average qualitative grade for partial compensation of students’ tuition fees in the form of state-allocated student allowances, according to the press service of Ministry of Education and Science.
The minimum threshold is set at 75% and 80% for bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs respectively.
Students must submit the necessary documents to their higher educational institutions until September 11. The lists of students who have overcome the minimum threshold and are included in the low income families system will be presented to Education and Science Ministry by September 18.
