Head of Union of Armenians of Ukraine meets European politicians in Brussels
Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine (UAU) Vilen Shatvoryan held a number of bilateral meetings with European politicians.
As part of preparations for the opening of a representation of UAU in Brussels, a delegation led by V. Shatvoryan traveled to Brussels, AnalitikaUA.net reported.
Meetings took place with European politicians, MPs and public figures during the visit. The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenian Diaspora, ethnic minorities, and human rights.
Vilen Shatvoryan spoke about work done by Union of the Armenian of Ukraine, the implementation of projects initiated by the Union, and the results of UAU’s international activities.
UAU is the only all-Ukrainian organization uniting all the Armenian structures based in Ukraine. The Union of Armenians of Ukraine was the first NGO in Ukraine to be included in the EU Transparency Register.
